Inclination Sensors in Plantautomation Industry

DIS Sensors’s are the producer of Inclination Sensors.

The inclination sensors are of QG-series which assess angles in 1 or 2 axes. The products are established in vigorous MEMS technology in which capacitance differences can be changed into an analogue voltage inside a micro-mechanical sensor chip.

The analogue voltage is proportional to the angle to which the sensor is revealed. Because of the modular design it is easy to adapt the sensors to precise requirements.

Inclination Sensors

The inclination sensor is used in conditions where precise stance or constant monitoring of the angle in relation to gravitational pull is important. It measures the angle with respect to a horizontal position, whereas an imaginary line from the centre of the earth serves is taken as a reference.

It has a very extensive range of applications. It can be mounted anywhere and presents flexibility in mechanical design. The sensor output is an amalgamation of these two components. One is of a static (slope) component and the other is a dynamic (acceleration) component.

The sensors of DIS have a standard bandwidth of 10 Hz. But it can be reduced according to the client’s request, is customizable.

These sensors are used for a variety of applications. Like agricultural machinery, tilt protection for cranes and platforms, shipping (roll and pitch measurements), platform leveling, etc.
